This work begins from viewing clay not as a means of realizing form, but as a material that remembers time, pressure, and repetition. In the process of pressing and folding a slab of clay in half, only the ruptured edges — unable to withstand the pressure — were cut away and used as individual pieces. Each piece leans against the others as a single unit of time, forming a structure whose accumulation metaphorically embodies how daily life and labor shape individual existence. Rather than presenting a completed form, this work offers form as a record of accumulated action.
